Assam Government declares 7 new ‘Designated cremation grounds’.

In light of the increasing number of COVID cases in the Kamrup Metropolitan District, the Government of Assam on 8th May, 2021 designated 7 new cremation grounds. The cremation grounds have been mentioned below-

  1. Ulubari Electrical Crematorium

  2. Basistha Bhootnath Cremation Ground, Basistha.

  3. Bothghuli Cremation Ground, Botahghuli, Panjabari

  4. Jalukbari Creamtion Ground, Jalukbari

  5. Garigaon Kabarthan, Garigaon

  6. Jalukbari Kabarsthan, Jalukbari

  7. 7. Katahbari Kabarsthan, Kathabari
