Pandemic Restrictions in Madhya Pradesh

On 29th May, 2021, the Government of Madhya Pradesh issued a set of restrictions to bring down COVID cases in the State and are effective from June 1, 2021:

1) Villages that have five or more than five COVID cases are marked as red zones or micro containment zones.

2) Restrictions can be eased if the weekly average cases in these areas falls below 5% before June 15, 2021

3) District Collectors must send instructions to all Village/Ward/Block Crisis Management Groups and get their consent and suggestions by 30th May, 2021.

4) The above guidelines shall be effective until 15th June, 2021
