Gujarat Govt. releases State policy for hospital admissions

Pursuant to the order of the Supreme Court in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 3/2021 the Gujarat Government released their State Policy on Hospital admissions. the guidelines have been given below-

  1. Positive COVID-19 test report will not be required for admission. Suspected patients having symptoms should be entertained and given treatment.

  2. All patients, whether coming in ambulance or private vehicle to be admitted in the Hospitals.

  3. Place of residence in a particular city or state will not be a reason for denial of admission to patient.

  4. Drugs and oxygen to be made available to all needy patients.
