UP fixes rates for ambulance for COVID-19 patients

On 7th May, 2021 the Government of Uttar Pradesh issued a notification fixing the rates of ambulances to avoid exorbitant prices from being charged. The rates have been given below-

  • Ambulance without oxygen-

    • Rs. 1,000/- upto 10km.

    • After 10km- Rs. 100/- per km

  • Ambulance with oxygen

    • Rs. 1,500/- upto 10km.

    • After 10km- Rs. 100/- per km

  • Ventilator Support/Bipap ambulance-

    • Rs. 2,500/- upto 10km.

    • After 10km- Rs. 200/- per km
