Himachal Pradesh: Prioritized groups for COVID vaccination

On 29th May, 2021, the Himachal Pradesh Government included the following categories of people as priority groups for COVID vaccination. They need to have an identification certificate issued by requisite authorities for registration in COWIN portal:

  1. Employees of Department of Agriculture (including Staff of HP State Agricultural Marketing Board) must have their certificate issued by the Deputy Director Agriculture/Subject Matter Specialists/HoD

  2. Employees of Department of Horticulture must have their certificate issued by the Deputy Director Horticulture/Subject Matter Specialists/HoD

  3. Employees of IPR Department must have their certificates issued by the DPRO/Director IPR

  4. Employees of Excise Department must have their certificates issued by the Excise and Taxation Officer/AETC/HoD

  5. Employees of Rural Development must have their certificates issued by the BDOIPO DRDA
