Tamil Nadu announces procedure for availing financial assistance for rice ration card holders

The Tamil Nadu Govt. announced financial assistance of ₹4,000 as Covid relief to each of the 2.07 crore rice ration card holders. For the first Rs. 2,000/- tokens would be distributed on 10th May. The amount will be distributed on 15th and 16th of May, 2021. Since Tamil Nadu is under lockdown people going to collection centres to avail their financial assistance will be permitted to travel between 8AM to 12PM. Masks are compulsory.
