Sikkim issues guidelines for tourists and travellers visiting the State

On 19th April, 2021 the Government of Sikkim issued a circular stating that tourists and travellers visiting Sikkim without valid negative RT-PCR Certificate would be screened at entry check posts and subject to Rapid Antigen Test prior to being allowed to enter Sikkim. Negative RT-PCR tests obtained within 72 hours prior to entry in Sikkim, are to be strictly checked at the hotels and various accommodation units before allowing tourists and travellers to stay in the premises.
