Rehabilitation of COVID orphaned children

On 25th May, 2021, the Government of Delhi issued the following guidelines:

1) All child care institutions for differently-abled students must be informed of the relevant guidelines and be monitored

2) A compliance report must be submitted fortnightly.

3) A centrally sponsored scheme namely child protection services for delivering institutional and non-institutional care including a helpline for children called Childline is implemented.

4) The District Magistrate must take immediate action for the rehabilitation of COVID orphaned children in accordance with the Act.

5) The information about any child who has lost both their parents may be shared with a Childline (1098)
