Maharashtra Government to give free treatment for black fungus

The Bombay High Court asked the Maharashtra Government to publicize its free-treatment policy for black fungus disease to prevent hospitals from fleecing the poor and the unaware. Irrespective of whether any person in the State of Maharashtra is a card holder, they would all be eligible for treatment under the MJPJAY in select hospitals

This is in light of the increasing treatment costs of black fungus disease by private hospitals.
