Restrictions placed on Marriage Halls in Raipur
On 28th May, 2021, the Government of Raipur issued a notification regarding the restrictions placed on marriage halls in Raipur:
No more than 50 persons can be present during a particular event in a Marriage Hall.
All the persons present must wear masks and maintain physical distancing
The hall must have posters to spread awareness about wearing masks and sanitizing
The workers in the Marriage Hall must either be tested for COVID or be vaccinated
Non-compliance with the above can cause the marriage hall to be sealed for 30 days and be subject to criminal proceedings.
