Raipur, Chhattisgarh declared a containment zone

On 24th April, 2021, the Government of Chhattisgarh extended the lockdown imposed on 17th April, 2021 and declared Raipur to be a containment zone until 6th May, 2021. Some of the important guidelines are as follows:

1) All hospitals, medical shops, clinics and veterinary hospitals will be allowed to be open within their stipulated time.

2) Medical shop owners shall prioritize home delivery of medicines

3) Fair price shops shall be allowed to be open subject to everyone wearing masks and socially distancing.

4) Wholesale mandis shall remain closed but loading and unloading of produce is allowed between 11AM and 4AM.

5) Home delivery of groceries is allowed from 6AM to 2PM.

6) E Commerce deliveries shall be permitted.

7) LPG and Gas Cylinders shall prioritize phone orders and home deliveries.

8) All religious and political events are prohibited. Maximum number of people allowed in marriages and funerals are 10.
