Andhra Pradesh extends curfew till 31st May, 2021

On 17th May, 2021 the Government of Andhra Pradesh issued a notification extending the curfew till 31st May, 2021. While the restrictions are more or less the same as the previous order issued for imposing curfew, the only change is with regard to exemption to Members of the Legislative Assembly/ Council. The said provision has been reproduced below-

“The following moment of persons is included in the exemptions specified under Para-4 of G.O.1st read above:

n. Hon’ble Members of the Legislative Assembly/Council, Officers along with staff of State Legislative Assembly/Council in connection with sessions of Legislature, duly following the COVID protocol.”
