Mandatory display of bed allocation in hospitals.

The Govt. of Karnataka acknowledged that some patients were finding it difficult to get beds even after an allocation was made by the central allocation system of BBMP. To address this, the Govt. directed that every hospital must display at the reception counter-

  • The total number of beds

  • Total number of beds allocated for COVID patients (minimum 50% of total hospital beds)

  • Types of available beds (Isolation beds, ICU beds, ICU beds with ventilators, beds with High Flow Oxygen, beds with Regular Flow Oxygen)
