Karnataka releases protocol for COVID positive patients presenting to triage area

On 22nd May, 2021 the Government of Karnataka issued the protocol for COVID positive patients presenting to triage area. This has been done on the basis of assessment of patient symptoms and signs-

  • A- Asymptomatic- Home isolation/CCC

  • B- Mild symptoms- Home isolation/CCC

  • C- With co-morbidities- Home isolation/CCC

  • D- Pneumonia- Wards

  • E- Pneumonia- HD U

  • F- Sepsis/ Septic shock/ MODS- ICU
