Odisha Govt. includes 7 categories of staff as ‘frontline workers’ for the purpose of vaccination

On 13th May, 2021 the Government of Odisha announced that seven additional categories of workers would be included as ‘frontline workers’ for the purpose of the 2nd dose of COVID vaccination. These categories are-

  • Forest officials and forest guards

  • Banking staff/insurance companies/NCPI, Payment system providers/ Operators/vendors/ cash logistic companies/cash-in-transit companies/ATM maintenance personnel, Banking correspondence and consumer care points

  • Railway staff

  • Staff of DCPU, staff of Childline (1098), staff of 181 Helpline, staff of one stop centres and all caregivers staff of child care institutions

  • Oxygen plant employees

  • Filling station employees and call centres employees.

  • Government Veterinary Doctors, Livestock Inspectors and para-veterinarians.
