Odisha Government releases SOP related to vaccination process during lockdowns

Odisha Government has announced a lockdown in the state from the 5th of May to the 19th of May, during which weekends (i.e. 6PM Friday to 8AM Monday) will be complete shutdowns.

However, they have announced that vaccination would continue during the lockdown and shut down, except on Sunday which will be used for complete sanitisation of vaccination centres.

Eligible persons for vaccinations shall be permitted travel to centres in own vehicles/taxis/auto rickshaws.

The State Government has also directed districts to prepare a Vaccination Centre wise list in each district of those beneficiaries whose 2nd dose is due. This is to enable mobilisation of the same by health teams through telephonic contact with the CVC to vaccinate them on first priority.
