Protection of children during the COVID Pandemic
On 29th May, 2021, the Himachal Pradesh Government issued a series of guidelines relating to the protection of children during the pandemic, especially, the upcoming third wave:
1) Ensure hospitals have pediatric wards and newborn units supported with oxygen availability
2) Ensure appropriate emergency triage and treatment services for newborns.
3) Ensure availability of diagnostic consumables/oxygen support/referral support of needed
