Odisha announces 14 day institutional quarantine for individuals from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

In light of the virulent strain of SARS-CoV2 presenting itself in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the Odisha Government has announced measures for people entering the state from AP and Telangana.

Anyone entering Odisha from AP and Telangana by personal vehicles by personal/hired vehicles/trains or any other mode shall undergo mandatory institutional quarantine for 14 days in Cluster TMC.

All passengers coming from AP and Telangana alighting at Bhubaneshwar airpot/Jharsuda airports/ all railway stations shall be mandatorily subject to institutional/paid quarantine for 14 days ordered by authorised officers.

Any person who has been successfully vaccinated (2 dose) with valid certificates or negative RT PCR test report within 48 hours before entering Odisha will be permitted home quarantine for 7 days, if no facility for home quarantine then paid quarantine will be arranged at identified facilities.

Individuals travelling from these States through Odisha will be allowed without disembarking from the vehicle en-route.

Persons coming on emergency work related to COVID 19 management by the Government/private hospitals and individuals coming in connection to any work permitted by Government of Odisha are exempted from this order, however they will perform mini necessary travel as required for their task.
