Madhya Pradesh launches ‘Kill Corona-4’ campaign from 24th May

On 24th May, 2021 the Government of Madhya Pradesh announced that they would be initiating the ‘Kill Corona-4’ campaign. Door to door survey will be conducted and steps will be taken to screen potential symptoms. Home quarantine will be allowed only if a patient has a separate room and toilet facility after confirmation of corona infection. Otherwise, the patients will be admitted to the Government Covid Care Center.

Villages will be divided into three zones:

  • Five or more active patients-red zone

  • 1-4 active patient-yellow zones

  • Active Patient None-Green Zone

Note- Door to door survey and contact tracing will be done in Gram Panchayats of red and yellow zones.

Plan for Urban Area:

  • Identifying hot spot areas so that they can be monitored continuously.

  • Contact tracing of those who have tested positive

  • Creating micro-containment zones to control infection and limit the spread of COVID-19.
