Himachal calls for volunteer groups for COVID-19 related activities in the field

On 20th May, 2021 the Government of Himachal issued a circular calling for the services of volunteer groups for COVID-19 related activities in the field. Some of the activities would be-

1. After Sampling-

   • Those persons who have given samples either because they are symptomatic or are contacts need to be counselled not to roam about till the result is received

2. For COVID positive patients-

   • Facilitate daily consultation with a doctor using e-Sanjeevani OPD app

   • Guide them on the protocol to be followed while in isolation

   • Guide them when they need to get hospitalised

   • Supply information about the nearest COVID hospitals and on the availability of beds

   • Guide them when they can be discharged as per protocol
