Guidelines for Manufacturing Industries during the Andhra Pradesh Curfew

There is a curfew in Andhra Pradesh for two weeks from 5th May 2021. The following guidelines are for industries operating beyond permissible hours:

1) All industries are allowed to operate throughout the day based on the needs of the industry. However, they must optimize shifts to contain COVID

2) Industries under construction can work in a single shift

3) National infrastructure/pipeline projects can continue their work

4) IT Companies that are needed to support critical medical, financial and transport services can continue their work

5) E-Commerce delivery for essential goods are permitted

6) The employers mentioned above must submit a list of employees who are to work beyond permissible hours along with Aadhar/Employee ID number, photographs, and vehicle number to local Tahsildar and Police

7) COVID identity cards must be issued to the employees

These guidelines are effective until 18th May, 2021
