Guideline for Religious Events in Chhattisgarh

On 9th May, 2021, the Government of Chhattisgarh issued the following guidelines for religious activities:

1) Maximum of 10 people are allowed to attend weddings and funerals

2) All other types of religious, social, political and other events will be completely banned.

3) Religious Leaders will be asked not to encourage people to turn up to festivals in large numbers. People are asked to perform these festivals and rituals in their homes.

4) Isolation protocols of those who tested COVID positive must be checked periodically
