Rajasthan Govt. issues lockdown guidelines with effect from 10th May, 2021

In light of the second wave of the pandemic, the Government of Rajasthan has imposed a strict lockdown in the state from 10th May till 24th May, 2021. The list of activities which are permitted/not permitted during this period have been defined. Some of these activities are reproduced below-

  1. Marriages till 31st May, 2021- Permitted with certain restrictions.

    • No function except for the wedding ceremony, wedding processions, D.J., wedding dinners are permitted.

    • Only 11 (eleven) people from both the sides will be permitted to attend the wedding ceremony. The details of these 11 (eleven) people will have to be submitted/ uploaded in advance on a dedicated portal developed by the DoIT.

    • No decoration, catering services, including home delivery by caterers, is permitted.

  2. National Rural Employment guarantee Scheme and other schemes dedicated for the upliftment and development of villages- Permitted.

  3. Petrol pumps and LPG services

    • For private vehicles, petrol and diesel stations are permitted to remain open and operate from 7:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m.

    • Distribution of LPG cylinders is permitted between 6:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m.

  4. Funeral ceremony of Non-COVID patients

    • It is mandatory for people to wear face masks, maintain social distance, use hand wash and hand sanitisers while attending a funeral ceremony. Further the maximum number of people that are permitted to attend such a ceremony is 20 (twenty).
