Tamil Nadu releases COVID-19 case management Protocol

On 14th May, 2021 the Government of Tamil Nadu released a case management protocol for patients suffering from COVID-19. The cases have been bifurcated into three broad categories based on the SpO2 and RR levels-

  • SpO2 >94% and RR<24/min- Home based treatment

  • SpO2 90-94% and RR24-30/min- Primary care

  • SpO2 <90% and RR>30/min- Pre-hospital care
