Rajasthan Govt. imposes restrictions on attendants of hospitalised COVID patients.

New restrictions have been imposed on attendees through the revised regulations issued by the Government of Rajasthan on 6th May, 2021. Only one attendant will be permitted by hospitals and a pass shall be issued to them to enable tracking them during this period. The attendant will also be required to home quarantine for a period of 15 days thereafter.

Relevant extracts of the said Guidelines have been reproduced below-

  • Only if necessary, one attendant of a hospitalized COVID-19 patient shall be permitted by the hospitals and other medical institutions.

  • The hospitals and other medical institutions shall issue a pass to such attendants, the details of which should be shared with the Health Department of the State Government so that his/ her movement can be tracked. An attendant will be required to undergo a mandatory home quarantine for a period of 15 (fifteen) days.
