Odisha includes ‘Mucor Mycosis’ as a notified disease

On 20th May, 2021 the Government of Odisha issued a notification including Mucor Mycosis (black fungus) as a notifiable disease under Section 2 of the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897. The guidelines for treatment have been issued by the Central Government in this regard.
