Treatment cannot be denied by hospitals

On 23rd April, 2021 the Govt. of NCT of Delhi (Health and Family Welfare Department) issued a notification to clear out the confusion regarding hospital admissions. It was noticed that hospitals were denying admissions for want a positive RT-PCR test. The Ministry clarified-

“Hospitals are hereby directed that all cases of moderate to severe influenza like illness should be provided treatment as per protocol in dedicated area to be kept for suspected cases.No patient requiring medical aid should be denied treatment.”
