Haryana passes the ‘Haryana Epidemic Diseases (Mucor mycosis) Regulations, 2021

On May 16th, 2021 the Govt. of Haryana passed a notification making the ‘Haryana Epidemic Diseases (Mucor mycosis) Regulations, 2021’ valid for one year from the date of publication. All health care facilities (government and private) will follow the guidelines for screening, diagnosis, management of mucor mycosis, issued by MoHFW (GoI)/ ICMR/ State Government and amended from time to time.

All healthcare facilities will report each and every suspected or confirmed case to the Health Department through concerned Civil Surgeon. No person/ institution or organisation will spread any information or material for management of Mucormycosis without prior permission from Health Department, Haryana.
