Madhya Pradesh notifies maximum rates to be charged to COVID-19 patients

On 31st May, 2021 the Government of Madhya Pradesh issued a notification regarding maximum rates that are to be charged to COVID-19 patients of non-Ayushman Bharat beneficiary category and not covered by any health insurance product/ any bilateral agreement/ MoU between any hospital and private corporate group or patients who have exhausted their health insurance cover.

  • Charges for General Ward + Isolation- Rs. 5,000/-

  • Charges for HDU + Isolation- Rs. 7,500/-

  • Charges for ICU without ventilation + Isolation-Rs. 10,000/-

  • Charges for ICU with ventilation + Isolation (NIV/ Invasive ventilation)- Rs. 17,000/-

Inclusions:

  • Bed Charges

  • Nursing charges

  • In house consultation/ duty doctor charges

  • Inpatient diet

  • Procedures like Ryles tube insertion, urinary tract catheterisation

  • PPE kits

  • Consumables

  • Oxygen

  • Nebulization

  • Physiotherapy
